THE INVITATION
The Invitation is a five-day non-residential workshop that focuses on personal development, offering you tools for understanding and addressing your own intimacy issues. The workshop introduces the vision, models and methods of Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy.
What is Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy?
Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy is a revolutionary, new body-oriented therapeutic modality dealing with sex and intimacy issues. Developed by Mike Lousada, together with Dr. Louise Mazanti, Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy is a unique combination of neuroscience, psychotherapeutic and bodywork disciplines, it offers an integrated approach for addressing mind and body so that full resolution can be achieved.
Who is it for?
Anyone looking to mindfully explore their own relationship with sexuality, whether they are currently in a relationship or not. The Invitation is also a pre-requisite for the Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy practitioner training, which is approved by Association of Somatic & Integrative Sexology

What can I expect?
This experiential workshop offers an opportunity for you to get to a deeper understanding of your sexuality, its drives, motivations – and blocks. You will be offered a clear road map that will help you understand your intimate life and how to improve it as well as developing a deeper understanding of your sexual self.
Focusing on your own journey we will use techniques from the Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy model, including guided visualisation, somatic (body) mindfulness and sensate tracking to help connect mind and body.
There is no touch or nudity in this workshop.
PRACTICAL INFO
Mike Lousada and Louise Mazanti, PhD. are sex therapists, or Love Revolutionaries, as they like to call themselves. As a couple they are changing the face of sex therapy and have dedicated their lives to transforming our relationship with sex and intimacy. They teach globally, including at the Esalen Institute in California, across Europe and in Moscow.
Mike is the founder of Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy (PST). He is trained as a Psychosynthesis counsellor, bodyworker and clinical sexologist amongst other things. His studies in these fields and in trauma therapy and neuroscience have contributed to the creation of PST.
Louise is trained as a Psychosynthesis counsellor, and is co-developing and teaching Psychosexual Somatics® Therapy with Mike. In addition she is trained in energy psychology, esoteric wisdom, integral philosophy and shamanism, all of which inform her work.
They both have private practices in London and around the world working with individuals and couples, supporting them to regain personal power, embodiment, intimacy and sexual connection.
Together they are co-authors of the Hay house published book, Real Sex: Why everything you learned about sex is wrong (2017).
